White Fused Alumina Refractory is made from superior industrial alumina powder processed by Bayer by fusing it in an electric arc furnace at a high temperature of 2050℃. It is a pure white, dense mineral, with large crystals of mostly alpha alumina. It has chemical and high temperature stability, excellent acid and corrosion resistance, excellent purity, hardness and fire resistance. White fused alumina is one of the most widely used raw materials in the refractory industry.
